Call Out:
In normal working hours, 8am – 5pm, for up to 2 hours & reactive call outs (loss of power or lighting) our callout fee applies. The call out fee (£40.00 +VAT) includes all travel & expenses & the first 30 minutes on site.
Our standard hourly rate (£35.00 + VAT) applies in 30 minute increments thereafter. At present 90% of ‘call outs’ are completed within the initial 30 minutes.
Please note: call out fee is due upon arrival, in cash or cheque, or bank transfer prior to acceptance of the job.
All follow up work will be on a time and materials or fixed price basis.
Time & Materials:
This is usually the most cost effective way of having work carried out in your home. If you have a long list of requirements or just one specific job, email or call to arrange a visit by one of our surveyors. The work could be carried out within 1 working week.
Our standard hourly rate is £35.00 per hour for electrician £21.00 per hour for a mate. Charges also apply for a labourer at £21.00 per hour, and a percentage on materials (sundries 10%, equipment 20%).
If you source the materials/equipment yourself we will be happy to fit them, but, we can only warrantee materials/equipment supplied by ourselves.
We are happy to provide a budget costing to help you plan.
Fixed Price:
This is the best option for larger jobs and off plan projects, but useful for smaller jobs too.
With a fixed price, you will only pay the quoted amount for the work specified and if there are alterations they will not be carried out without full written agreement.
With a fixed price on larger projects we can, if required, help you with all stages of the installation, concept – design - specification. With our knowledge of regulations, products and new innovations you are sure to achieve perfect results.
